This is the best 6609 I've ever seen. Unpolished, no corrosion or pitting anywhere, all still original from the factory. The caliber 1066 works very very well. This watch has never been fitted with bracelet, no marks caused by the bracelet's end link behind the lugs. I assume this watch was delivered with leather strap (it was an option given by Rolex back in the old days). It looks more attractive when I put a genuine alligator strap w/ genuine Rolex gold plated buckle. Dauphine hands, embossed 'ROLEX' writing, roulette date wheel, this is the real beauty from 50's.
